Description
Circa 1920s. A good George II style bow fronted side table or desk. The top with quarter matching walnut veneers and double banding with a very elegant fore edge. To the front there is three bow fronted drawers, each with cast brass swan neck handles with pierced butterfly shape back plates. Beneath the drawers there is a well-shaped frieze, the table rests on four elegant cabriole legs with foliate carving on the knees and finishing on a large ball and claw foot.
