Description
Circa 1790. A George I style walnut chest of diminutive proportions, the top in fine burr walnut framed with herringbone and broad banding, the front with stylish curved moulding, with a configuration of two short over three full length graduating drawers, each with a circular back plate and circular ring pull handle, the larger drawers with elegant escutcheon’s with working locks, all drawers lined in oak, beneath the bottom drawer there is a shaped moulding, all resting on four bracket feet.
