Description
Circa 1880, rare folding walnut child’s campaign chair. The rectangular uprights with fluting and bone button decorations are surmounted by a pierced crest rail with opened foliate carving. With an upholstered panel with gold velvet covering with a fleur-de-lis decorations. The saddle shaped seat with a similar upholstered panel all supported on outswept legs. When folded, it is 82 cm high x 36 cm wide x 20 cm deep.
