Circa 1900. A fine example of a Flemish ebonized and tortoise shell mirror. The outer ebonized frame with Flemish fretwork, with a shaped tortoise section, then a raised section which is ribbing on the sides with a carved pattern on the facing. Another panel of tortoise shell and a double section of ebonized wood, frame the simple and clean mirror. The cushion shaped mirror is in excellent condition, clean and stylish. Can be hung portrait or landscape.
