Description
Circa 1860. Exhibition quality mid-Victorian burr walnut wellington chest. The polished top with a finely carved foliate moulding, carved beaded frieze over eight graduated drawers with finely turned knobs, burr walnut fronts and solid mahogany drawer linings flanked by pilasters (locking pilaster on the left-hand side). All sitting on a moulded plinth base. In exceptional condition.
