Description
Circa 1850, Edinburgh copper and steel street lamp (also called a Lord Provost Lamp – due to its shape). Surmounted by a finial over a pierced, conical section and tapering square body glazed on all sides. The base with circular iron mount; recently cleaned and re-wired.
