Description
Circa 1900. An unusual and stylish carved oak overmantel mirror. The top of the mirror with a small shelf, the shelf is supported by quarter brackets with a beaded fore-edge and profusely carved frieze beneath with a cartouche shaped center and mythical birds and dragons. The bevel edge mirror is framed in oak, with foliate carving down the sides and a simple beaded breakfront base.
