Description
Circa 1920s. A stylish carved and gilt wood adjustable easel, the shaped top in Rococo style with C scrolls, with carving to the base, supported on two gilded upright with beading to the fore-edge with an adjustable pierced rest to the center with a foliate carved back and butterfly nut to the rear, the front with a small shaped shelf centered with a cartouche, the two uprights are braced by a carved and shaped stylish stretcher, the front legs finish on a curled foot and the back has a single gilded leg which is tied to the front leg by a wonderful coloured cord and extravagant tassel.
