Description
Circa 1860. Attractive gilt bronze French Victorian mantel clock. The circular enamel face with Roman numerals and twin key holes in an elaborate gilded rococo case with figures of children dressed as Roman soldiers and extensive rococo scroll & foliate decorations and neo classical swags. All on a serpentine fronted carved giltwood base. The brass clock movement impressed O. Berger a Paris, 2556. In working order.
