Circa 1870, exhibition quality inlaid kingwood free-standing writing table. The serpentine shaped top in crossbanded kingwood with marquetry inlay around a green leather writing surface with gilt tooling. This is over 2 shaped-front, inlaid marquetry drawers with ormolu rococo handles and mahogany drawer liners. The sides and back with matching inlaid decoration, and all supported on tapering cabriole legs with impressive ormolu mounts extending down to the sabots.
