Description
Circa 1790, Northern French well carved oak side cabinet. The rectangular panelled top with rounded corners, over a configuration of 3 drawers with fine carved foliate beading and the 2 outside drawers with elegant brass pulls and backplates. The 2 full length doors are profusely carved with flowers and urns, with a pair of large proud brass hinges and elaborate extended brass plates. The central carved panel has intertwined flowers and leaves, with a large carved flower head design. The interior with a single shelf, over a shaped and beaded frieze which continues to the sides, all finishing on simple block feet.
