Description
Circa 1900. Neat size oak folding campaign desk. The rectangular shaped desk with beaded panels on both sides, the top with a small lock and clasp, opening to reveal a well fitted interior with blotter insert, and ink wells, pen compartments, stationery and stamp holders, all in leather. When open there is a pair of locking clasps to the underside, resting on an elegant X framed stand with a fluted stretcher bracing both ends and finishing on a simple curled foot.
