Description
Circa 1870. A stylish primitive glazed model of a sailing ship in a diorama case, the glazed front with a stylish pierced pediment, the paintwork on the case is scumbled, inside the blue painted interior has the name ‘James Mayer’ painted on it, this name is also painted on the back of the case. There is a two-mast ship with all of the rigging, but no sails.
