Description
Circa 1870. A stylish pair of Venetian ebonised and polychrome figures of Blackamoor Gondoliers, each with stylish decorated outfits, including shoes, breeches and tops, holding a torch aloft in one hand and a stylish decorated oar in the other, resting on the prow of a gondola, both raised on hexagonal gilded and ebonised bases with stepped enclosed plinths.
