Description
Circa 1890. A Qing dynasty Hongmu Chinese marble top insert plant stand, the octagonal shaped stand with pink variegated marble insert, fore-edges with fine beading and a pierced frieze with classical Chinese motifs, including foliate carving, flowers and flower heads, supported on profusely carved cabriole legs which are braced by cruciform stretchers with a rondel with a carved bamboo on the facing, finishing on classic Chinese feet, all great colour and patination, clean and sturdy.
