Circa 1900. A neat sized mahogany folding campaign desk, with rectangular body with panels front and back, with a small proud circular button on the top for releasing the locking mechanism, the underside with a polished steel clasp for locking it into the open position, all supported on a stylish X-shaped frame, inside with a spring-loaded bank of divisions in mahogany with small plaques for messages and a leather writing surface.
