Description
Circa 1870, George II style giltwood and marble top side table in the manner of William Kent. The purple veined marble and gilt metal banded top with outset canted corners, over an egg and dart moulded frieze with deep carved oak leaf and acorn swags centred by a shell motif, raised on angled scroll legs carved with fishscales and acanthus, ending on square moulded block feet.
