Circa 1900, Chinese hongmu kang table. The rectangular shaped top with its raised solid panel in the centre. Below this is open fretwork in the form of faux bamboo. The curled ends are solid, again with faux bamboo contained in a convex beaded panel. As the apron continues around it tapers into the side and has 2 scrolling legs at the front and the back at each end finishing with a simple curled toe. The table is a neat size, very sturdy and clean.
