Circa 1920’s. An unusual stylish large serving table in mahogany by Whytock & Reid of Edinburgh. The rectangular top with a small and simple upright to the back and moulded fore edge. The table has a shaped and curved frieze to the front and to the sides, resting on four classic Whytock & Reid, Lorimeresque legs, with carved tops, with continuing down the sides of the legs, finishing on an elegant foliate or leaf covered pad foot. The table has recently been repolished (traditionally).
