Description
Circa 1860. A neat sized mid-Victorian framed and upholstered stool. The square stool with needle point upholsterery, with fabric piping fore edge and velvet on the sides held in place by gimp. There is a simple seat rail which follows the form of the top, dipping at the front and continuing on all sides. The stool stands on four elegant cabriole legs with reeding on the sides and finishing on a well curled toe.
