Description
Circa 1860. A mid Victorian mahogany four tier whatnot. The top surmounted by ¾ mahogany gallery and four elegant finials. All of the shelves beneath have a ¾ gallery also, all supported on turned and bulbous uprights. Beneath the bottom shelf there is a full-length drawer, with two turned knob handles and ash linings, indicating that it is Scottish. The whole piece rests on four turned and tapering legs which finish on a brass cup and brass castors.
