Circa 1780. A Quality inlaid mahogany George III bureau in excellent condition. The flap with unusual satinwood chevron inlay and boxwood line inlay and a central oval foliate panel, opening to interior with secret drawers and pigeon holes and old burgundy leather writing surface. The 4 graduated inlaid cock-beaded drawers with solid oak drawer linings, elaborate brass swan neck handles and escutcheons. Supported on a neat moulded base with original shaped bracket feet.
