Description
Circa 1890. A Qing Dynasty Hongmu marble top plant stand. The unusual heraldic shaped stand with pink variegated marble insert in the carved top with a finely beaded fore edge. The frieze with Chinese motifs and a flared apron with further carving, the table rests on three shaped cabriole legs with carved and pierced quarter blocks, intersected by raised carved stretchers, finishing on rustic animal feet.
