Product Description

Circa 1990s. George III style mahogany serpentine front inlaid serving table by ‘Arthur Brett of Norwich’. The top with well figured mahogany, broad crossbanding framed with ebony inlay. To the front is a configuration of three drawers, one bow fronted and two concave, each has feathered mahogany facing and broad crossbanding finished in boxwood, with cast brass drop handles with elegant cast oval back plates. Beneath the drawers is a further beading which continues around the sides. The fore edge each end has canted corners, and the whole piece rests on six square tapering and inlaid legs with string inlay with an arch on the top, finishing on an elegant splayed toe.
