Circa 1950, pair of very stylish George II style walnut marble top console tables. The pink variegated tops are removable. Beneath this is a small crossbanded section with a very stylish ogee apron, which is also crossbanded, and a solid walnut half round beading. The convex apron runs around the front and sides, and there is a carved shell in the centre. The tops of the legs are carved with an extended shell, and continues down into an elegant cabriole leg finishing in a stylised foot. Both the tables have excellent colour and condition.
