Circa 1950, very stylish retro walnut, copper and polished steel hall stand. The rectangular body has chamfered edges on all sides and tapers from top to bottom. The top of it is slightly rounded. At the top section there are eight tapering pegs which protrude at an angle. Further down the body there is a circular polished steel bezel which is held in place by four turned supports which are screwed into the body of the hall stand. At the base there are four copper removable trays which form a circle and these again sit on another copper tray with a raised lip to retain the water. Beneath are four spread tapering feet which give the hall stand an elegant look and a good low stability.
