Circa 1920, tall 3 door mahogany breakfront bookcase by Whytock & Reid of Edinburgh. The simple stylish cornice above three open sections with adjustable shelves. The back is panelled and the shelves are solid mahogany with rounded polished fronts. Beneath the top section is a flat section with a square edge and curved section beneath. There are three doors on the bottom each with a crossbanding on the outside and an unusual geometric pattern in the centre. Inside these are further shelves. The whole piece stands on an enclosed plinth.
