Circa 1900, unusual gong on stand made up of eight various sized tubes. The top has an unusual foliate casting finishing with three flower heads. On each side of that is a brass tube and two round finials. The whole piece is held in position by a cluster of two brass tubes which separate at the bottom to form a quadruple base with a cross stretcher in the centre which again has the same type of casting as the top, finishing on a small scroll foot. Unusual piece, stylish and functional.
