Product Description

Circa 1910, unusual monks bench style hall chair. With a circular polished top (the front with foliate carvings) that folds to allow it to be used as a table and supported on rectangular arms over ring turned supports. The solid rectangular seat over flowerhead carved seat rails and ring turned legs with cross stretchers, all on a simple plinth base. Top diameter 71 cm.
