Description
Circa 1900. An oak tambour fronted filing cabinet, with solid top with molded edge, which is hinged opens and has a small ratchet for adjusting the height of the reading slope. With two panels on the gables, a full-length retractile door to the front, when opened reveals are ten shaped pull-out slides each with a small brass plate, all resting on a large enclosed plinth with four metal castors to the floor.
