Circa 1900, stained beech and rattan Art Nouveau chair in the style of William Morris. The low slung chair with two circular uprights to the back finishes with simple squat finials, and 6 shaped rails to the back. The original seat is woven in rattan and is on tapering front legs and turned uprights to the back sweep down to become the back legs. It has double circular stretchers and a single stretcher to the back. Examples of this chair can be seen in the Liberty of London book.
