Product Description

Circa 1900.  A walnut and burr walnut side table by Whytock and Reid of Edinburgh with many Sir Robert Lorimer influences.  The rectangular, saucer top in mirror matched walnut with walnut and burr walnut cross banding over a full-length shaped frieze drawer with a central burr walnut panel and cast brass handles, with elegant back plates and a simple frieze beneath.  The free-standing table is polished on all sides.  All resting on four elegant cabriole legs with reeded knees and finishing on foliate carved pad feet. The table has been recently traditionally re-polished.
