Circa 1900, good quality Sheraton style mahogany inlaid cheval mirror. At the top is an architectural inlaid pediment with 2 stylish finials in the form of urns either side. The mirror itself is oval with a bevelled edge, and held in a large rectangular frame with inlaid corners. It is held in place by 2 large pins and adjusted by large brass knobs with a stylish decoration on the outside. Beneath the bottom of the mirror there is a cross over stretcher with an inlaid panel, and the whole piece stands on 4 sabre legs which finish on a small toes with brass castors. The back of the mirror is polished making it freestanding.
