Circa 1900. A clean mahogany revolving desk chair, in the form of a captain’s chair with shaped top rail, two simple arms supported on shaped uprights at the front, and 11 narrow uprights below the back and arms. The large solid shaped seat rests on a revolving base, with 4 cabriole legs which finish on brass and brown porcelain castors. Chair has good colour and patination and the mechanism is working perfectly.
