Circa 1920, pair of French Louis XVI style bedside cabinets. The top shelf has a three quarter wrap around gallery which is raised and gilded, with a Prince of Wales plume in the centre. Beneath this is a single serpentine drawer again with moulding and gilding and a small brass knob in the centre, over an open section. Below this is a shaped apron, and the whole piece stands on four very elegant thin cabriole legs which have carved and gilded knees finishing in a neat foot.
