Circa 1930, fine pair of oak concave side tables by Whytock & Reid of Edinburgh. The tables have three drawers with carved curved handles and are supported on lyre ends with large cross stretchers, standing on four squat carved pad feet. These tables must have been a commission due to their unusual style and shape, perhaps originally for a curved room. There is a reflection of the Art Deco period about the tables, which ties in with the time they were made. A very rare pair of tables of this period.
