Circa 1900, Lorimer style marble top side table by Whytock and Reid of Edinburgh. With mottled green marble top and simple fore-edge with rounded corners to the top, it has 2 cupboards beneath with flame mahogany veneers and cast brass handle with acanthus leaf designs. Opening to uninterrupted space and above a shaped apron carved with open fretwork and continuing around the sides. Standing on carved cabriole legs with c-scrolls which continue to the frieze, acanthus leaves to the knees and finishing on a hairy paw animal foot.
