Product Description

Circa 1920, unusual marble top console table by Whytock and Reid of Edinburgh, influenced by Sir Robert Lorimer. The black, brown and grey variegated marble top has a simple rounded fore-edge and is on a deep wooden apron with Chinoiserie, floral style motifs. Standing on a pair of square legs with reeded sides, and a classic Whytock and Reid foot with gilding to the front, and is fixed to the wall.
