Circa 1920, Jacobean style solid oak gateleg table. The oval top has quarter sawn oak and a heavily carved border in the form fan tails with carved flower heads. Beneath the top is an apron on each end with similar carving to the top. The legs are turned and tapering and have the typical gateleg action, with foliate carving in a small panel at the top and bottom. These are united by stretchers at the bottom with simple carvings. Wonderful colour and patination.
