Circa 1920s, teak and inlaid long narrow tray. Stamped on the back with two stamps reading, ‘British India’ and ‘Made in British India’. The tray has a wraparound gallery, open pierce section at the end and two turning lifting handles. The rail around the tray is inlaid on the outside top and inside with simple rondels and diamond shaped with further string inlay. The main body of the tray with a large central inlaid piece in bone with a flower head. Each side of this there is further stylish inlay and a border with flower heads and circles, contained within two inlaid bone lines.
