Circa 1930s, Indian hardwood and inlaid occasional table. With its removable lid and top with a central flower head pattern and profuse inlay. Its fore-edge is inlaid in the chevron style with white and black of ebony and bone. The top stands on a folding octagonal base in rectangular sections, each with a panel at the top framed by an ebony and bone zigzag pattern. There is a classic Indian archway beneath this. The table stands on simple square legs with chamfered corners which unit when the table is fully opened.
