Circa 1920, George III style walnut and burr walnut chest on chest. The polished top has moulded edge over a stylish apron at the front. Beneath this is a moulding which continues around the sides. On the top is a combination of four graduating burr walnut and crossbanded drawers, with simple brass escutcheons and very stylish brass swan neck handles with a pierced back plate. The bottom section has a bow fronted pull out brushing slide, which is veneered in walnut and has brass axe head drop handles. Beneath this is 3 further graduating drawers in the same style as the top. All standing on raised stylish French style bracket feet. Good colour and sturdy.
