Circa 1900, neat sized circular wall mounted barometer. It is contained in a deep thick oak frame and the base as the side of the frame has a flat section, half round and ogee section. The barometer itself is contained within a brass bezel with bevelled edge glass. It has quite an elaborate case with the maker or retailers name of J. Cameron and Sons, Kilmarnock. The writing is a mixture of red and black with the dial painted all the way around. At the base it says ‘aneroid barometer’. In the centre there is a brass arm which can be adjustable and changed as does the weather.
