Circa 1900, brass and oak table top gong. With sweeping arched topped in the form of a dragon, holding the gong in place. The gong has a design of mythical fish and wave patterns with slight plamishing, whilst the elaborate base has c-scrolls and stands on a brass shield shaped section. The beater can be stored on brass uprights and is made in walnut with upholstered zebra skin top. On brass feet, ribbed to look like shells.
