Circa 1900, pair of unusual tall Chinese dark red lacquered two tier side tables. The rectangular tops are lacquered with a slight bit of Chinoiserie with beautiful flowers, over a shaped apron with small elongated slits on all sides. On the next section there is foliate painted of leaves and then a shelf in the centre, again with some Chinese patterns of teapots and flowers. This is on a fielded panel held in place by simple stretchers. The legs finish on primitive hairy paw feet.
