Circa 1900, Edwardian Art Nouveau oak barometer. The solid oak frame barometer has a shaped and fretwork top, and a cased, glazed thermometer and at the base a circular barometer. The barometer has a porcelain face and has been made by Adie & Whether Burn of Edinburgh, famous registered and highly regarded instrument makers. There’s a sweeping adjusting arm in the centre of the glass which is held in place in this brass Bessel, above an Art Nouveau shape.
