Circa 1880, Victorian neat sized walnut frame and upholstered nursing chair. With deep button and scalloped shaped top section (separated by cord). Held in place by a shaped and curved frame finishing with circular roundels at the front, continuing down to a foliate section at the seat. Beneath the upholstered back are several neat sized balustrades which are held in place by a curved rail. A shaped beading continues around the entire frame, and the back legs are circular and downward swept on white porcelain castors. The front legs are turned, ring turned and taper and finishing on a massive brass cup with white porcelain castors. It will need re-upholstery.
