Circa 1880, small Victorian walnut inlaid pier cabinet. The rectangular top has an ogee moulded edge which has been ebonised. Beneath this is an apron with a stylish marquetry panel in the centre, and beneath this is framed in ormolu beading. The glazed door is held in an inlaid frame and opens to show two shelves. On either side are foliate castings on the top and bottom and marquetry panels in the centre. The whole piece stands on an enclosed plinth. Neat size, good colour.
