Circa 1890. Pair of generous sized oak captain’s or office chairs. The horseshoe shaped back with a raised curved central section above out-swept arms supported on tapering turned spindles over a large saddle-shaped seat. With robust turned legs in front over brass and brown porcelain casters connected by a crinoline stretcher to out-swept rear supports.
