Circa 1890 stylish oak bench/pew, with an L shaped top rail with chamfering and simple pattern on it at the bottom, and dowelled into a tapering upright with a similar carved pattern. The seat is a solid oak plank with rounded corners and sides, on a trestle end with a Gothic window arch beneath, and sturdy raised feet. There is a cross stretcher across the entire bench for stability, and again all the side rails are peg jointed. Good colour, stylish and functional.
